Outside of a few close friends and my daughters, no one has asked me why I stopped...blogging that is. But the truth is I wasn't sure that I had anything new to add until I discovered, unexpectedly, that over the past few years, I've assimilated a lot of viable information on marketing effectively in this technology enabled world.
The realization came one evening at a networking event when I was directed to be "sure to speak with the social guru" on deck. In the process of making his acquaintance, I understood not only what he was talking about but also what he was missing. In that moment I realized the value of my reading, experimentation and the IT classes I've been able to take at Penn State as well as the bonus I get from having a long, varied experience in direct (measurable) marketing.
But you didn't come here to read about my metamorphosis. You're curious about what happens when you stop blogging? Here's what I found, based on my data analytics.
